What is Chore Care Service?
Chore care is the care of a patient’s symptoms who have been diagnosed with a serious illness.
On-going pain and discomfort can be a significant contributor to a patient feeling defeated and unstable, which can affect their ability to live their lives. This is why palliative care treatments center on the symptoms and wellbeing of the patient and are not curative measures for the disease themselves. Dealing with pain and discomfort is a crucial aspect of a palliative care plan. Other symptoms that can be reduced by palliative care are Nausea, Weakness, Loss of Appetite, Difficulty Sleeping, Shortness of Breath, Constipation, Anxiety, and Depression.
